November is here and as gamers we have a lot to be thankful for, including the active Game Informer community that continues to provide an abundant stream of blogs and user reviews.

Few things in life are certain: death, a new Call of Duty every year, and a new installment of Blog Herding at high noon every Thursday. While that might be a slight exaggeration, the fact that there were some great blogs this week is not. Enjoy.

We are a month away from the next-generation consoles becoming the current-generation consoles, and then the real console wars will begin. If you need help to pass the time, perhaps one (or all) of these blogs will interest you.

It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that GTA V continues to be a popular topic this week, and there were certainly plenty of blogs inspired by the game. But there were also quite a few other blogs you might find just as entertaining.

It was a relatively slow week for blogs and user reviews. But fear not: With the official release of Sony and Microsoft's next generation consoles quickly approaching, this is very likely the calm before the storm.

Now that the release dates for both the Playstation and Xbox have been released, the console wars will no doubt continue to escalate. How about a blog while you wait? We have plenty to choose from.
